Dr. Myers seeks to impact the lives of others not only through his work with clients, but through advocacy, especially, where systematic injustice negatively affects the mental health of marginalized groups.   He believes that all people deserve to live a life with dignity.

Dr. Myers experience includes work with adult populations in hospital and community mental health settings, assisting individuals struggling with anxiety and depression, developmental disabilities, substance abuse, and other addictive behaviors.  He has worked extensively with adolescents in his role as a School Psychologist for over 14 years and he possesses an acute understanding of the legal obligations public schools have to equitably address the learning and mental health challenges of its students.   Throughout his career, he has advocated for better policies to address suicide in the school setting, and better practices to protect the privacy rights of students and their families.
